About Jackson Dent

Master of Accountancy student currently pursuing my graduate degree at Utah State University with a strong academic and professional background in accounting. I earned my undergraduate degree at USU, majoring in Accounting with a minor in Finance, where I developed a passion for financial reporting, audit, and helping organizations make informed, data-driven decisions. Throughout my time at Utah State, I’ve completed multiple internships at a variety of accounting firms, gaining valuable experience in auditing, financial analysis, and client service across different industries. I’m proud to be an active member of Beta Alpha Psi and the Institute of Management Accountants, and I enjoy staying engaged in campus and community life—whether it’s working behind the scenes with the Utah State men’s basketball program or participating in leadership and service opportunities. I’ve been fortunate to receive the A-Pin Award, the highest scholarly recognition awarded at USU, and recently took third place in an international financial accounting case competition, placing ahead of thousands of global competitors. I’m passionate about the role of accounting in building transparency and trust, and I’m excited to keep growing as a future leader in the profession.
