About Jackson Henry

Currently a dedicated full-time undergraduate student at UCLA and a recent alumna of Fullerton College, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communication and a certificate in paralegal studies. My enthusiasm for the entertainment industry and fascination with its foundations highlights my academic and personal aspirations. I have over one year of experience holding roles within the media industry at both the independent and no-profit levels of local journalism. I have gained expertise on video/audio production, post-production, program distribution, as well as marketing strategies. In addition to media & marketing skills, I have strengthened my interpersonal communication skills in my clerical/guest service position with the Fullerton College Umoja Program. Also in the Higher Education industry, I hold a Grant Proposal Editor/Team Member position through the USC Race & Equity Center at Fullerton College. In this role I am able to advocate for students of underrepresented communities, such as myself, being half-Black-American and half-Peruvian. I am a hard-working student, having graduated from Fullerton College in the Spring of 2023 with a B.A, in Communication Studies with a 3.9 GPA. In my time at Fullerton College, I was awarded a "Student of Distinction" honor for my work in digital media production in local journalism. Now, I am currently a full-time Communication student at UCLA with plans of graduating in the Spring of 2025.
