About Jackson Hill

I’m an innovator, connector, and encourager driven by a genuine curiosity about people, business, and culture. My motivation is to build meaningful relationships and gain a deeper understanding of how the world works especially how individuals and organizations manage risk and opportunity. During my time at Drake University, I developed a passion for the insurance industry and the way it helps people and businesses navigate uncertainty. Through my internship with the largest employee-owned insurance brokerage in the United States, I gained hands-on experience across employee benefits, property and casualty, and captive insurance solutions. This experience gave me a holistic view of the insurance process and how various stakeholders collaborate to deliver value. Currently, I’m spending time in Japan, improving my Japanese language skills and exploring how businesses in Tokyo operate within a global and cross-cultural context. I’m especially interested in how international firms and insurers build trust, adapt, and innovate across cultures.
