About Jackson Hobbs

Following along from my successful completion of my tertiary education I entered the workforce in Melbourne where I was able to put the knowledge and expertise that I had gained to work. I commenced my career within a well-known Melbourne legal firm whilst I waited to gain a position within the Victorian Government. Upon obtaining a position with the Department of Justice in 2017, I successfully completed many projects and was prompted on merit as management recognised that this was my passion. Currently, I am an experienced project officer with expertise in project management, data analysis, procurement, and contract management with Safer Care Victoria (part of Victoria Department of Health). Having worked in two major government departments, I feel it is now time to branch out in a new direction and further my personal and professional career in a new project management team that will provide me with further opportunities for growth. Current skills include: • Project Management • Intermediate use of the Microsoft 365 Suite • Competent in using internal CRM systems (TRIMS, Oracle, OurBriefings, Asset Management Systems & Zycus) • Stakeholder engagement • Excellent written and Verbal communication My recent career achievements include: • Successfully re-wrote and developed a suite of strategic process guides and diagrams for the system performance team • Contributed to the project develop policy recommendations for low level surgical procedures by reviewing the documentation and making recommendations that were clear, concise, and easily read • Identified across the organisation inefficiencies with documentation handling, I developed a policy for an improved best practice for documentation management across the department
