Currently working as a Customer Order Engineer at Eaton Corporation within the Power Distribution and Control Assemblies (PDCA) division. I specialize in the Medium Voltage Control Assemblies (MVCA) product line with future ambitions to specialize within the Medium Voltage Drives (MVD) product line as well. Responsibilities include developing complex drawings and bills-of-material contingent upon the client's equipment application and established product designs. Conduct special development/application for projects of a complex nature. Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products. Consult and coordinate with other departments and personnel including Customer Order Design, Manufacturing, Plant Engineers, Purchasing, Field Sales Engineers, and Quality. Current graduate student at North Carolina State University (NCSU) studying for a Master of Science in Electric Power Systems Engineering (EPSE). Topics in this program extensively cover generation, transmission, distribution, and protection of electric power systems. The program supports a great emphasis on analysis and modeling of electric power systems using programs such as PSCAD, Milsoft Windmill, MATLAB, and PLECS. Alumni of the Western Carolina University Brinson Honors College who attained a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology. Possess basic skills in C programming, VHDL programming, microcontroller interfacing, AC & DC circuit analysis, power systems analysis, PCB layout & fabrication, leadership, cultural responsiveness, teamwork, problem-solving, and detail-oriented. Program proficiency includes MATLAB, MPLABX, EagleCAD, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, LabVIEW, Microsoft Office, LTspice, Quartus, and Arduino.
