About Jackson Kordos

I am a rising junior from Cleveland, OH majoring in marketing at The Farmer School of Business at Miami University. Farmer School of Business has taught me many valuable skills that have allowed me to thrive in my academic and everyday life. I chose to become a marketing major because I have always been intrigued by the way products are presented and exploited to many different audiences. I am hard worker and driven student who is always looking for ways to improve my professional development.I have expanded my marketing knowledge at Miami University through various marketing classes, clubs, and speakers. I also currently play a role as the social chair of the Miami University Ski Club where I plan and coordinate various social events to improve connections and turnouts in the club. I also am able to help market the club through various social media platforms, club meetings, and collaborations with other clubs.This past summer I ran my own landscaping business. I provided reliable service to existing and new clients around my community. I was able to reach these customers through marketing several different social media platforms. Running my own business let me excel in my communication skills as well as time management.I am currently looking for a marketing internship for the summer of 2024, please feel free to reach out and connect!
