About Jackson Pauls

As Director of R&D at Biotronics3D, I led the delivery of innovative, cloud-based healthcare products — including teleradiology with auto-assignment, a peer review module, a radiology information system (RIS), and both patient and referrer portals. These solutions are now used by some of the largest private providers of radiology services in the UK and Europe.Prior to that, I worked as an independent IT consultant, developing bespoke web applications and mobile apps (iOS and Android) for SMBs. These included consumer-facing apps, admin and accounting systems with tax calculations and integrations with banking and HMRC, business intelligence dashboards, and invoicing platforms. My early work in AI involved implementing learning classifier systems to use as share-trading agents, and building a stock market simulation engine using real price and volume data to evaluate their performance.I strive to gain a deep understanding of problem spaces, company objectives, and user behaviour. Working in partnership with clients, I combine technical expertise and strategic focus on business needs to lead the development of products that are effective and user-friendly.I'm passionate about solving meaningful, real-world problems, and about cultivating an environment where engineers can grow and excel, while ensuring best practices in coding, project management, and collaboration.
