About Jackson Perry

From a young age, I was drawn to the world of computers and technology. In high school, I built my own desktop for gaming, which sparked my journey into the tech field. Immersed in various gaming communities, I began freelance development work, creating custom plugins and scripts in SourcePawn for Counter-Strike servers. This hands-on experience fueled my passion for software development. My interest soon expanded to developing automated bots for Steam, focusing on tasks like automatic trading and selling in-game items for Bitcoin. This venture sharpened my programming skills and introduced me to the practical applications of automation and digital transactions. Inspired by the TV show Mr. Robot, my passion for programming evolved into a fascination with information security. The challenge of defending networks and systems, as well as the intrigue of ethical hacking, led me to shift my academic focus from pure computer science to cybersecurity. In my free time, I enjoy skateboarding, playing fighting games, and watching anime, which provide a balanced contrast to my professional pursuits and keep my creativity and problem-solving skills sharp.
