About Jackson Stokes

My first job was in a freelance landscaping business that I started when I was 14 years old. I maintained accounting books, created business plans, provided a weekly schedule, and manage customer relations which in turn increased business referrals. I am still currently working this job while being a full-time student. I also work as a head coach for a highly competitive lacrosse team during the summers. I implement practice plans, confer with assistant coaches, evaluate players' performances, and develop team strategies based on previous knowledge of the game. I have been the head coach since 2018 and continue to work as the head coach. As a fourth-year student in the Mechanical Engineering program at Penn State I have demonstrated a proficiency for problem-solving in Mathematics, Science, and Engineering and their various applications. I am highly anticipating the opportunity to utilize the skills learned in school and through various jobs to apply them towards a future career.
