About Jackson Strick

As a M.Ed. Candidate and Senior Admissions Counselor at Vanderbilt University, I work with my colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for prospective students and help them successfully navigate their college search process. I do research in educational policy and law focused on increasing college access for underrepresented students, as well as students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Advocacy is my top priority, and I'm committed to helping break down academic, economic, and racial barriers to serve students that need additional assistance getting to and through college. Educational success should be defined by growth, not achievement, and every student in the country must be given adequate resources to have the opportunity to grow as an academic, a professional, and global citizen.
