About Jackson Sun

I am currently working in AGP (named OGS before) team and leading the USD supporting on Android porting and performance improvement projects. Before I joined OGS team in 2020, I am the technical owner of Autodesk's Protein project. Protein is a renderer material management library and used by all hero products of Autodesk. I'm also the author of the core library, from 2012, I became the major developer and the technical leader in Protein project. I have a lot of experience in performance analysis and tuning, familiar with flame graph and tools such as Windows performance analyzer, VTune, gperf, and also expierenced with GPUView and RenderDoc. I also practiced to write cache awareness code for some crtitical code path. I'm familiar with C++ and following with interest the C++ edges and evolutions. I'm also a C++ trainer in Autodesk. I was also experienced with database (Oracle) and network related development, and also familiar with software development process and methodologies. I also familiar with Windows, Linux and OS X. In my spare time, I investigate Linux and ARM (S3C2440 & Raspberry Pi), and have great interesting on writing high performance or resource limited web applications in C++.
