Experienced senior financial professional with demonstrated experience from an issuer, financial institution and board governance perspective. Conceptualized and led the City’s corporate borrowing strategy implementation to better utilize internal liquidity and issuance in the debt capital markets. Completed stakeholder engagements, obtain support from all levels of the organization including formal council approvals, sought advice from other orders of government as well as other municipalities. Engaged with external credit rating agencies from both a commercial and analytical perspective. Establish and act as the primary lead for the investor relations function. And act as the primary lead working with financial institutions across Canada. Act as the primary relationship lead with finance leads (CFOs) of subsidiaries and civic partners. Lead a team to structure, obtain legislative approvals, execute and monitor credit facilities for subsidiaries and civic partners. I like to run marathons, ski, play basketball and am a martial arts enthusiast.
