About Jaclyn Damp

I am the Manager of the Finance Capital Reporting group at PNC, located in Pittsburgh, PA. Our team is responsible for production and reporting related to the Capital rules (Basel) and Single Counterparty Credit Limits rule. I have been with PNC for 14 years, starting my career as an intern in Regulatory Reporting. After college, I went through PNC’s finance and accounting development program, and spent several years in Corporate Accounting, focusing on the accounting, budgeting, and reporting related to PNC’s benefit plans. I also held a role in our Corporate and Institutional Banking control team, where I oversaw the budget process for all of C & IB. After taking a few years off after having my children, I returned to PNC in 2017 in my current group as an individual contributor, focusing on reporting related to Capital. In 2018, I took on a manager role for both the Reporting and Governance team. In 2020, the Capital Production manager role became available, and although I did not have much technical experience, I decided to take the role to improve my technical skills. In this role, I led the team through a system conversion related to capital. In 2022, I was promoted to manager of both Capital and SCCL. I love my role as I get to use my technical knowledge of the rules, as well as my love of financial reporting and presenting the story behind the numbers. I love analyzing large sets of data, digging in and researching, writing SQL queries, and working on enhancing automation and efficiencies. I get to spend a lot of time working with our extremely knowledgeable technology teams. I also get to work with regulators and present information to our senior managers. There is a lot of excitement in the regulatory space right now and I’m excited to work with my team on reacting to what is coming!
