About Jaclyn Ditter

I am Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Addictions Specialist. I have been a practicing psychotherapist for six years. I am also a Certified Counselor Supervisor for the State of North Carolina and provide supervision to therapists trying to obtain licensure. My counseling background working in mental health and substance use has been fundamental in the development of treating emerging adults and established adult populations, as well as, families in their transition from addiction to recovery. I believe in a strength-based perspective while combining my knowledge of multiple therapy modalities to find the best fit for each client. My focus pulls from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing, Solution Focused and Motivational Interviewing. My specialties include treating depression, anxiety, co-morbid conditions, substance use, relationship issues, life transitions and codependency. I strive to create an environment that allows clients to feel welcome and safe in the therapeutic setting while empowering them to reach their goals.
