About Jaclyn Gerowski

I graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication in May 2009, with a focus on Broadcast. For the past five years I put all my effort into the industry and wish to continue in this field. For the past 2 years I have lived in Los Angeles. Since moving to LA I worked on American Idol, game show Let's Ask America (season 1 and season 2), talk show That Sex Show and have taken on various other industry jobs. In New York I worked for the number one morning show, Good Morning America as script coordinator where I compiled all documents (rundown, studio notes, cue sheets) needed for our live 2 hour broadcast. During the show I was both in the control room and on set where I was responsible for distributing script and show changes as they come. As audience coordinator I booked studio audience for our show and prepare them for the interactive part of the show. I have also taken the role production coordinator, green room coordinator and promotion coordinator. Within the past years I have also held many freelance positions in the production field. I was an on set production assistant position for the television show “Mercy”. I was a PA at LIVE! With Regis and Kelly”. In addition I have experience in the advertising field. At PLUM Agency, as an assistant producer. Throughout my college years I had internships where I gained hands on experience of television and movie production. They include, LIVE! With Regis and Kelly, EXTRA and the feature film Blue Valentine.
