About Jaclyn Jacobs

I’ve always had a passion for helping people, regardless of the “how”. I spent years working in customer service, transitioning from helping people have the best dining experience possible to helping them get their necessary medication. At the University of Oklahoma, I studied to have a better understanding of how medications function and are developed. Now, I work as a lead pharmacy technician within the Prior Authorization department at a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM). I’ve help people get their medication covered by insurance, assisting them in navigating the often-confusing world that is pharmacy insurance coverage. I train and lead new technicians in processing prior authorization requests and developing their customer service skills. I also assist in developing methods to streamline our process to better serve our members. In my free time, I like to explore my community. I volunteer at various festivals and events, have fostered animals, and take every opportunity to enjoy Oklahoma City that I can.
