My name is J.P Kruger, l’m writing to you regarding any Laboratory assistant position or internships available. As an Honors graduate in B.Sc. Chemistry from the Northwest University of South Africa, I have the necessary academic background to be a competent contributor to your department. My research and conservation experience makes me an ideal candidate for this position. I have had a great deal of research experience in Chemistry and Geology, both in the lab and in the field. Most of my experience is in environmental field studies and membrane technology in Chemistry. My final research project in membrane technology was the study in the separation & recovery of Cobalt & Aluminium from spent fischer-tropsch catalyst leach solutions. During my studies I worked as a lab assistant at the Northwest University of South Africa. I also served as a research assistant for a chemical engineer at Sasol. With the capabilities to perform a wide range of experiments and conducted analysis using ICP. I believe that I would be an asset to your department.
