With over 20 years in the catering industry, I’ve grown from packing meals in my family’s kitchen to leading two of Dubai’s most trusted catering brands, Suja’s Kitchen and Laptop Lunch. My journey started early, watching my mom (Suja) cook for family gatherings and helping out during every school break. It wasn’t just a business; it was a way of life rooted in hospitality and homegrown flavour. In 2017, after completing my CPA articleship, I officially took over the business. That’s when I saw a major gap in Dubai’s corporate food scene: there were no neat, quality-assured, authentic Indian lunch solutions for offices. That insight led to the birth of Laptop Lunch, our corporate catering brand. We started even before the cloud kitchen boom in the UAE. Delivering meals in our vehicles, setting up canteens, and offering daily meal plans to companies that wanted in-house food solutions for their teams, saving them time, ensuring quality, and keeping productivity on track. Meanwhile, Suja’s Kitchen has continued to serve families, schools, churches, and communities with something deeply personal, authentic Kerala cuisine. It’s more than just food; it’s nostalgia on a plate. Every dish is a celebration of tradition, made with the same love and detail we started with at home. Today: We’ve grown Suja’s Kitchen by 5X Serve across 6+ outlets in Dubai Run ISO-certified kitchens with a hygiene-first approach Cater to top corporates, events, and production houses across the UAE I believe the future of catering lies in scalable, tech-enabled operations that still deliver cultural authenticity and emotional connection through food. More than building a business, I’m here to build structure, standards, and spotlight for catering to an industry that deserves more respect and recognition.
