About Jacob Baribeau

Great vision without great people is irrelevant"- Jim Collins The role of Business Development and Construction Management at Baribeau Construction has been a natural progression for me. I worked myself out of a full time job in my previous role at the Elgin Innovation Centre. I was the Development Coordinator and after five years of working in that role, our team completed the retrofitting of the former Imperial Tabaco building and filled the complex with over 35 tenants and created a sustainable business hub that will support the Aylmer community for generations to come. Moving forward, I returned to Baribeau Construction and brought with me my passion for working with new businesses and my experience of creating spaces for them to thrive in. This passion of mine blends prefect with Baribeau Construction's mission which is to Capture Vision Through Construction. Beyond this, I have a passion for family business and became an ambassador for Family Business Canada. Growing up in one myself and working with many others, I understand the challenges that come with it and importance of family business to our community.
