About Jacob Blacksten

I am an experienced and versatile professional with a diverse background spanning multiple industries. As adjunct faculty in the Alfred Lerner College of Business, I have taught both Business Analytics and small business management, helping to prepare students for the ever-evolving business landscape. As a Digital Solutions Manager, I provided small businesses with valuable advice in a number of different focus areas, particularly in technology and cybersecurity. I am especially proud of my work designing and implementing a statewide than national cybersecurity education program for small businesses, and creating customized training programs on various business topics on a learning management software I developed. My love for entrepreneurship started when I became the owner of my own food truck business, I was responsible for all aspects of the business, including conducting financial analysis, developing business plans, and managing employees. I also bring expertise in Digital Forensics, which has helped me to develop strong problem-solving and analytical skills as well as extensive knowledge of forensic software, system analysis, and NIST-compliant security checks. Throughout my career, I have established meaningful relationships with various state agencies and coordinated successful events such as the annual Secure Delaware cybersecurity event with DTI and others. I am committed to delivering top-quality results and leveraging my diverse experience to help others succeed.
