About Jacob Blue

Jacob Blue is an aspiring filmmaker whose passions have him wearing many types of film-related hats. Blue is always looking for new ways to put himself out there in front of or behind the camera. Blue has directed a stage play and short films, written many scripts for the screen and stage, acted both on stage, in films, and over animations, and helped construct and implement lighting plans. These lenses have helped shape Blue's unique view of the industry and led to him being in many projects he is very proud of. Any chance he can get to help someone's creative vision makes him feel the most excited to be alive. Blue's experiences in Boy Scouts and service industries have helped him to have great communication and problem-solving skills. He believes that any if not all issues can be resolved through clear and thoughtful communication. Blue began his film journey first on the stage, leading him to meet many exciting and inspired young creatives. He came to find that as he helped to fulfill their visions, his was starting to slowly take form. Blue has a deep passion for all sorts of humor, especially threw theater and video. Blue hopes to be able to one day make and work on more projects that push the boundaries of what media can be. His forward-moving work ethics help to bring projects to life. He is currently working on honing his producer skills by managing budgets, social media, casting calls, and resources assembly for the Towson University 2024 film 3 short film "The Smoky Mountains."
