As a dedicated HR and Training professional with over a decade of experience in the automotive and mining industries, I have a proven track record of aligning training strategies with organizational goals and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Currently, as a Training Center Manager at Volvo Group, I lead a team in developing effective learning methodologies, using data analytics to address human errors and knowledge gaps. My role involves supporting new product projects, participating in global training networks, and driving innovative working methodologies. In addition, as a Senior HR Business Partner, I focus on people development for non-bargaining unit engineers, implementing workforce planning, organizational development, and career pathing strategies. I lead change management initiatives and ensure HR strategies align with business objectives. My experience includes supporting both bargaining and non-bargaining unit employees, managing employee relations, and overseeing talent and performance management initiatives. In my earlier roles, I managed short-term disability and FMLA claims, supported labor relations activities, and handled recruitment and onboarding processes. My background also includes a Teaching Assistant position in Business Law and an HR Internship where I facilitated onboarding and developed training programs. My comprehensive experience has equipped me with the skills to drive organizational success through effective HR and training strategies. My educational background includes a Master of Science in Industrial Relations and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management, both from West Virginia University. I also hold an Associate of Science in Business Administration from WVU Potomac State College.
