About Jacob Buttram

Currently working in the aerial equipment rental industry. My day to day routine changes nearly every day. I'm faced with new challenges everyday I come to work. I strive to be the best leader I can be. I'm still working on that and have A LOT of room for growth and improvement. Customer service can be a very rewarding career, That is my main focus in my current career path, while learning how to lead, and helping lead those that need to be led. I have learnt so much in my time at Premier Platforms, Inc and I'm super excited to see where Empower Rental Group leads us all! I have multiple skills to offer, anything from basic construction knowledge to truck driving, to helping lead. I spent most of my teenage years being a GOPHER. Go for this and GO for that. I learnt quickly how to lay out out residential housing. I've done it all from digging footers and pillars, to septic tanks, to framing, roofing, electrical and plumbing. Then I began driving a truck. Not much I cant do with a 10 speed and a flat bed! Then the opportunity arised to move up. To become a manager. To become a leader. I work on my leadership role everyday. I yearn to be a good leader. I yearn to make a difference. I LOVE my job, and I personally feel that loving what you do is most important. Pressure? I enjoy working under the gun. Does it stress me? Yes, who does it not? Problems? NO! I see solutions! I'm still learning day to day, and looking forward to learning even more and becoming the man, father, husband, and LEADER I KNOW I can become. It's my destiny. My next goal in life at the age of 40, is to continue my education. Currently looking to expand my knowledge and step out into earning a degree that 20 years ago I had never even considered.
