About Jacob Christopher

I studied Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, and am currently working as a medical assistant before hoping to matriculate to medical school. Throughout my rigorous Hopkins education, I have developed valuable communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills that I can apply during medical school and beyond. I ultimately hope to explore the field of sports medicine/orthopedics and am fascinated by the musculoskeletal system and how injuries are sustained in sports. I am interested in learning about the diagnosis of these injuries and how to recover from them. The Pacific Northwest is my home. I love the feeling of adventure and exploration that comes with spending time outdoors, especially hiking, biking, and skiing. Nothing compares to the feeling of standing on top of a mountain on a crisp blue-bird day with fresh powder underneath your skis. It doesn't come very often, but these are the kind of experiences for which I live.
