About Jacob Davis

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from St. Francis Xavier University, where I won the Mike's Bike Business Competition and ranked 10th in the world out of students. I am currently an Associate Director - Product and a Product Owner of DevOps, Private Cloud at RBC Capital Markets, where I manage a cross-functional team of developers and engineers, and support and maintain current DevOps and Containerized deployments tools as well as create and enhance a proprietary RBC DevOps pipeline for Capital Markets use. In my previous role as a DevOps Team Lead at IBM, I managed a 13-resource multidisciplinary team that focused on developing tools for operations, using Python, React, Django, and other technologies. I was recognized with the "Rockstar Wall of Fame - Americas Hybrid Cloud Services" award for excellence in innovation. I am passionate about delivering quality products and services that meet the needs and expectations of our clients and stakeholders. I value collaboration, communication, and user research, and I strive to empower and facilitate my team members with the best practices and tools.
