I’m obsessed with branding and accessibility. In fact, I could exceed 2,600 characters talking about it––but let’s start here (is your coffee/tea ready?):1. Born profoundly deaf, I’m vocal and proactive about the value of accessibility. I cofounded AccessibleMasks.org’s online clear mask directory with my brother while working full-time. We get 0 financial benefits but 100% lip-reading benefits [if you wear one].2. Being a forever-freelancer and entrepreneur (okay, starting in middle school making and selling friendship bracelets) I’ve professionally done 17+ design projects––ranging from entire brand identities, print materials, product design, UX/UI, web design, and advertising. This also includes the 4 projects and small businesses I’ve co-founded or run independently. Yes, I’ve solo-run three small businesses! I always say “we” because I know how to do a little of everything: even knowing how to pivot to exceed business goals and profitability (though I am not a math guy, so let me grab a calculator). My personality is infectious. I value DE & I and company culture. For example, I started a virtual Weekly Wednesday coffee chat during the pandemic at my former company, Breinify.(It was known as “Coffee Chat” but because I was the only one drinking bottomless, extra-sweet coffee every time, it felt wrong)5. I love learning. When I graduated college (B.I.D. from Syracuse University), through blubbering tears, I told my mother “I don’t want to stop learning!” I quickly realized I am always learning but in new ways, from marketing AI to soccer nonprofits, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.There’s definitely more!
