About Jacob Denney

Hello, my name is Jacob Denney. I have a Bachelor's in Business Administration, with a concentration in General Business. I earned this degree through my time at the University of Houston-Downtown in 2022. It was here that I developed a strong foundation of business operations, ethics, management, entrepreneurship, and negotiation skills. I’ve been with Tesla since 2023, starting as an Operations Associate, then being promoted to Operations Coordinator for the Workplace department. Being employed here has brought new learning experiences to me every day. I’ve tackled a wide range of projects focused in the Texas Gulf Coast region, the California Bay Area, and the Truckee Meadows region of Nevada. I’ve had to hone critical corporate skills through these projects, including: B2B communications, financial forecasting, contract negotiation, data analysis, strict time management, streamlined interdepartmental collaboration, priority management, professional organization management, presentation skills, and much more. I have 2 years of Supply Chain Industry experience through my employment at Amazon as a Sortation Associate. There I learned a lot of tools of the trade, including time management, practical and direct written and verbal communication, and logistics verification. As an Eagle Scout, I learned project management and networking skills and developed a foundational work ethic that has carried with me through my higher education, work life, and personal life as well. I am incredibly proud of this accomplishment and work hard to reflect the tenants of leadership and discipline that people expect from individuals with this rank.
