About Jacob Doty

I am a Military Policeman in the Oregon Army National Guard and also a student at American Military University studying Crime and Justice who recently moved to Happy Valley, OR. Some of my duties within the military include providing security support for the 2020 presidential inauguration and assisting with law enforcement operations for Operation Allies Welcome in support of Afghan refugees seeking asylum in America. I have a passion for helping and working with others and doing what I can to make everyone's job easier. Employers and coworkers have described me as a hard worker and never lacking the determination to get a job done correctly and satisfactory. I am hoping to gain experience in all sorts of different industries to help expand my skills and abilities to later apply to a career in law enforcement. When I am not working or studying, you can find me practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or fishing on the Clackamas river. I also love snowboarding, and I am a huge Beavers fan in support of the university I attended prior to the pandemic.
