In my environmental scientist role, I develop onsite wastewater reports for council submissions, conducting site assessments of soil, topography, and hydrology. I design wastewater systems that comply with regulations, assessing environmental impacts and developing mitigation strategies. My comprehensive reports include detailed maps and technical specifications. As a GIS Analyst, I use GIS tools, including QGIS and ENVI software, to evaluate and mitigate bushfire risks. I analyse spatial data to create detailed maps and models, informing decision-making for bushfire management. My expertise in spatial analysis, satellite imagery processing, and vegetation classification contributes to developing BAL ratings, enhancing community resilience through informed land use planning and emergency response strategies.
