About Jacob Gottesman

I recently graduated from The George Washington University with a degree in Political Science and hands-on experience in both the House and Senate. Through internships with Senator Cory Booker, Representative Ro Khanna, and the Senate Sergeant at Arms, I’ve built a strong understanding of legislative procedure, constituent services, and daily Hill operations. Alongside administrative and communications work, I’ve developed a particular interest and growing knowledge in agriculture and artificial intelligence policy. I’ve contributed to policy research on AI regulation and civil rights, supported work on the Farm Bill, and engaged with legislative efforts at the intersection of technology, food systems, and equity. I enjoy translating complex issues into clear, actionable information and supporting offices that work with purpose and urgency. I'm currently seeking full-time opportunities in government, policy research, advocacy, or public affairs. I'm especially interested in roles that involve legislative work, political research, or policy communications. I'm also open to positions in government relations, nonprofits, or consulting, anywhere I can contribute, learn, and stay close to the policy process.
