About Jacob Hansen
After completing my college search and applying to a number of colleges across the country I found a home at Penn State. With great academics and an amazing alumni network, they offered a unique opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. After coming in as an engineering major I quickly learned I missed the personable aspect of a career, I missed meeting new people and being able to connect face to face. I reflected on what I loved to do and found the perfect major within the Smeal College of Business, Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I have run a number of small businesses since I was younger and love having the ability to be creative and work hard for every dollar. My CIENT major allows me to continue to explore possible entrepreneurial ventures while teaching me important skills such as how to be a great leader, teammate, how to be organized, and time management amongst many others. I also enjoy the technical side of business and am pursuing a minor in Management Information Systems
