About Jacob Jensen

Jacob has more than 20 years experience with identity & access management and has in-depth knowledge of system integration, provisioning, role-based access control, single sign-on, and workflows. Security architecture and design is an essential part of working with identity and access management therefore Jacob has a solid understanding of security. He has worked as an architect and developer on a number of projects where the customers' solutions had to meet demanding requirements to documentation, scaling, up-time, testing and quality. Jacob has a solid understanding of IT and is able to learn quickly and adopt new technologies and complex issues. He is a skilled communicator who knows how to explain the correlation between the business and IT to the entire organisation. The challenges within identity services and security services are many and varied, and he therefore benefits from having both experience with and understanding of development work, security architecture, testing and quality assurance and a broad background within IT infrastructure. Jacob has a structured and analytical approach to the daily challenges and is able to split up a complicated assignment into manageable pieces. He understands the importance of good documentation, is creative and always seeks a visionary approach to technologies and solutions, implemented in a secure environment. Through various projects, Jacob has gained thorough knowledge of the implementation of different IdM/IAM products, e.g. SailPoints IdentityIQ, NetIQ Access Governance Suite (NAGS), BMC Softwares IdM Suite (previously Control-SA), Oracles Governance Suite (Oracle Identity Manager), Dell One Identity Manager (D1IM) and Oracles Waveset Identity Manager (previously Sun Identity Manager). On top of that Jacob has worked with most other IdM/IAM solutions at a higher level.
