About Jacob Johnston

Jacob is currently on staff at Remote Control Productions in Santa Monica on the Engineering team. The majority of his role there is Assisting on recording sessions as well as Score Mix Assisting on Television and Films that go through the studio. Projects include TV Shows like Around The World In 80 Days (David Tennant), The Simpsons, and Movies like The Unforgivable and Army Of Thieves. Jacob regularly works on projects alongside mixers like Seth Waldmann, John Chapman, and Alan Meyerson.Jacob is an Audio Engineer and Musician who has worked along-side a wide ranging variety of engineers and producers at recording studios across Los Angeles and the southwest. Jacob has worked along side these professionals on recordings with artists such as Sleater Kinney and St. Vincent, Grace Potter, HOLYCHILD, Andrew Bird, Sky Ferreira, Ben Abraham, Madison Cunningham, The Head And The Heart, Money Mark, Chicano Batman, and Leonard Cohen. On top of Jacob's experience in recording field, he is also an experienced touring and studio musician. Jacob went to the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences.Through being a part of making word-class projects come to completion, Jacob has developed a passion for helping creative individuals bring their dreams to life.
