Hello! I'm Jacob Kadar, currently a dedicated Operations Manager at Frito Lay Canada. I graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in Biological Engineering with Co-op. This academic background along with personal enthusiasm has driven me towards a career in food manufacturing. My Co-op journey provided me with diverse experiences, shaping my career. At Quaker Oats, I excelled as a Capital Project Manager, emphasizing planning and communication for successful project management. Transitioning to Frito Lay, I took on the role of Floor Supervisor, embracing leadership and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity. My career then led me to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) as a Researcher, broadening my understanding of food safety and regulations. Finally, my co-op experience led me to explore product development and quality assurance as a Product Developer and Quality Control Specialist at Dainty Foods, balancing creativity with precision. My skills in Team Leadership, Problem Solving, and Critical Thinking have been instrumental throughout my journey. I believe in empowering teams and making informed decisions. Beyond work, I'm an avid weight lifter, camper, and chess enthusiast. These hobbies provide a balance to my professional life, keeping me sharp both physically and mentally.
