About Jacob Kent

I am currently a nursing student at the University of Central Florida after earning a Health Science degree (BS) from the University of Central Florida (UCF). I have a passion for people and a plethora of customer service experience. I started my college education early, dual enrolling at St. Johns River State College. In 2018 I started working at Publix and have refined my people skills to provide optimal care to customers. I was fortunate enough from 2019-2020 to work closely with an Athletic Trainer at a local high school and work with athletes suffering injuries sustained from contact sports. In 2019, I received an opportunity to shadow a physical therapist at HorsePlay Therapy Center and expose myself to physical therapy in a unique setting. Upon graduation from high school in 2020, I began studying at UCF majoring in Health Science. Serving people and my community has always been a priority for me as I have volunteered consistently from 2013-2019. I am excited for the next chapter in my life as I have started a Bachelors in Science Nursing (BSN) program form the University of Central Florida and will finish in May 2024. As of January 2023, I have accepted a student nurse technician position at Advent health to work with patients and implore the expertise needed to provide quality nursing services.
