About Jacob Leamon

I am currently a 3L student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. I have developed skills in legal research/writing, spotting legal issues, forming legal analysis/arguments, and public speaking. I am a team player who actively seeks out further ways to challenge myself and continue to develop my skills as a legal professional. I have a specific interest in developing into a reputable attorney and litigator who advocates in and out of the courtroom for my clients. I have previous experience as a Judicial Administrative Assistant for the Honorable Joel P. Fahnestock at the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County, MO. In this role I assisted with drafting court orders; handled scheduling for the Division; developed updated templates and forms; and communicated with court personnel, attorneys, police/correctional entities, and the public. I have previous experience as a Computer Technician with a demonstrated history of working in the legal services industry. Skilled in Computer Repair, Analytical Skills, Microsoft Word, Sales, and Communication. I received my undergraduate degree from UMKC as a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
