About Jacob Marcus

I am a fourth-year student at The Pennsylvania State University at University Park in the Integrated Masters of Accounting program, Class of 2023. I am interested in a career in due diligence and transaction advisory services. I am an ambitious, naturally curious, and driven individual who excels in a collaborative group environment. I have held various leadership positions throughout my time at Penn State. As a LEAP mentor, I led a group of new students through the transition from high school to college, and as a board member for Beta Alpha Psi, I have been able to help members grow professionally and expand their network. I have also held many customer service positions such as cashier/barista at Panera Bread, client desk advisor at Penn State auxiliary services, and a sales associate at Tim's Racquet throughout high school. With my minor in International Business as well as the travel I've had the privilege to do thus far, I hope to be able to take my skills and assist clients in achieving their financial and strategic goals on a global scale. Now that I am at the end of my junior year, I am applying to internships with firms whose values align with mine and offer the career in due diligence I am looking for. I plan to graduate in winter 2022 with my master's degree in accounting and 150 credits completed toward my CPA certification.
