About Jacob Marder

I am a change-oriented individual currently working for New Jersey Department of Human Services in their Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services (DMAHS). In my role, I am tasked with identifing large-scale concerns and issues within the state's Medicaid and CHIP programs My work requires me to go beyond the surface, taking a dialectical approach to identifying the root causes of systemic issues. Throughout my time in this position, I have addressed hundreds of reported issues and coordinated with dozens of subject matter experts to move closer towards resolution.In addition to issue resolution, I have been able to serve as an ad-hoc consultant for various business areas. For example, I have worked closely with the Fair Hearing Unit to develop a database for tracking fair hearing requests along with automated processes for tracking their statuses and distributing daily and weekly reports.
