In this position, I actively market and recruit businesses to participate in programs such as WIOA, special grants, and various Virginia Workforce Connection (VWC) business-oriented grant initiatives. Serving as the lead for regional Business Services Teams, I work in tandem with the One-Stop manager to develop and implement customized employer recruitment strategies, ensuring effective engagement with the business community. A key aspect of my responsibilities is serving as a community resource for distributing public communications through electronic and social media channels. I also conduct thorough analyses of the local labor market, compiling reviews to stay informed about relevant and competitive training opportunities within the growing labor market. Additionally, I engage in ongoing research to identify sector needs and labor market trends, providing valuable insights and recommending strategies to enhance employer services.
