About Jacob McCaskill

I am currently a foundational member supporting Corning's industry 4.0 transformation. I own the design and implementation of the manufacturing execution system (MES) in Corning's North American facilities. By implementing MES in factories, we are digitizing the manufacturing process and transforming data into information for consumption by the operations teams. This is already leading to process improvements, reducing scrap and improving operations efficiency, and we're just getting started. Through all my experiences, I have learned that effective leaders build teams that are empowered to execute their vision. They turn intention into reality by putting the required tools into their employee's hands, measuring them along the way and coaching them to ensure they perform at their highest level. They instill a sense of purpose into everyone they come in contact with and encourage everyone to celebrate team victories as they achieve meaningful goals for customers and the company.
