About Jacob McMasters

One word to describe me? Committed, In all things that I do. the vast majority of the time I spend working as an advanced multi-skilled troubleshooter or studying engineering practices and applied mathematics (electrical/electronic/software). I'm married and have four kids, I enjoy learning new things and solving the puzzles life presents to me. I'm twenty-nine years old and have been pursuing technical subject matter expertise for close to ten years. I am adept at working as part of a team, but introverted by nature. Thus, preferring solitude. I'm still relatively young (29) and life in the beginning was less than fair. So, when I graduated high-school I started spinning my wheels, trying to grow from the mush. I joined the military and they allowed me to discover passions and interests I didn't even know existed at the time. Some how over the last ten years I've gone from young and dumb, to curious, to experienced and obsessed. Now, for the first time in my life I have freedom and solid ground to grow on. As unfortunate as this was, I learned from it. I’ve spent years watching and working with people who spent years learning their trades and craft. I’m very coachable, taking all the advice and experience they could offer me with gratitude and respect. I've yet to acquire my (PE) license or even start my electrician's licensing but hope to do both after the completion of my software degree. Maybe a Masters Degree in the future, I really like the sound of Dr.McMasters? I kind of have a a split dream between being one of the engineers they send to mars and surgical robot dev. Though it’s much more likely I’ll go into software dev. I find myself curious about A.I. In case of full employment I would have to insist on being very particular about any agreements in that they must include stipulations assuring certain preferences.
