About Jacob Moncher

I am a graduate from Miami University with a major in Sports Leadership and Management and a marketing and sports analytics minor. With my minors I also better understand how to use data. Marketing showed me the best ways to present data while sports analytics showed me how to investigate data I am interested in the Sports Marketing and Sports Analytics field and am seeking exciting opportunities related to these. Through my previous experience as a fan engagement and marketing intern with Miami University and Analytics intern with Miami University's Women's basketball team, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and skills. I have been able to develop my critical thinking skills to help solve issues and also use data to solve problems. I love all things sports and want to work on the marketing or analytics side of the industry. I am a hardworking person, and a team player, and have great time management skills. Along with this, I have knowledge of programming software like R-Studio, SQL, SPSS, and Python. Also, I have experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. I believe that the skills that I have attained through my academic experience and internships define me and I look forward to using them, improving them, and gaining new ones in my next opportunity.
