About Jacob Moskowitz

Born and raised in San Francisco, California, I have always had a keen interest in art and design. I moved to Chicago my junior year of high school and was immediately taken by the rich architectural heritage of the city. I attended Carnegie Mellon University, where I received my Bachelor of Architecture with College Honors while also playing for the Men's Varsity Soccer Program. As a Project Designer, I am most passionate about understanding how the built environment affects the community and using design as a tool to strengthen the essence and culture of that community. I believe that good design is rooted in a recognition and respect for the existing, with a desire to create something new, exciting, and beneficial for the neighborhood. Outside of the office, I enjoy urban sketching, barbering, and exploring new areas of the city.
