About Jacob Nitafan

Hi, I’m Jacob Nitafan—a frontend-leaning full-stack developer who turns complex ideas into clear, responsive, and accessible web experiences. Since earning my IT degree at Deakin University I’ve expanded well beyond the HTML-and-CSS roots in my original portfolio. Today my daily toolkit centres on React, Next.js, and TypeScript, backed by modern styling stacks such as SCSS and Tailwind CSS and packaged for reliable delivery with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. I specialise in graphics-heavy and real-time applications: interactive 3D scenes with Three.js/WebGL, collaborative whiteboards powered by Yjs + WebRTC, and serverless back ends on Firebase, Firestore, and Cloud Functions. My work follows WCAG 2.1 accessibility, performance-first principles, and micro-front-end practices, and I’m comfortable integrating REST or GraphQL APIs, setting up cloud infrastructure, or jumping into Node when the front end needs extra muscle.
