About Jacob Obodai

I am a Postdoc Research Fellow at Edge Hill University in the United Kingdom. My work revolves around a riveting research project funded by The Trans-Atlantic Platform (T-AP) for the Social Sciences and Humanities, through the Economic and Social Research Council. Our project marks an exceptional interdisciplinary collaboration between humanities and social science researchers from South America, North America and Europe. Together, we are exploring the intricate dynamics of recovery, renewal, and resilience in a post-pandemic world. Leveraging a potent blend of social science and GIS/remote sensing paradigms, I passionately explore the manifold environmental and developmental challenges that confronts society. Specifically, my research is focused on uncovering the intricate interplay between nature and society, and the profound implications of these complex relationships across a wide array of social contexts.
