Passionately curious and driven by a love for problem-solving, I found my way into the dynamic realm of Computer Science. My journey began in 2003, delving into the intricacies of *nix systems. Despite the initial challenges—like configuring NIC drivers on Red Hat Linux—I found the process both frustrating and exhilarating. This experience ignited a lasting fascination. My skills cover a broad spectrum, including expertise in Java, Kotlin, Springboot, Ktor, Maven and Gradle along with experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript (with emphasis on React and Redux). I honed these skills during my time at Lambda School's full-stack web program, pushing towards mastery. I specialize in resolving complex server-side challenges, ensuring seamless functionality that goes unnoticed due to its reliability The power of technology to enrich lives fuels my commitment. Having contributed as an Associate Software Engineer at Figure Technologies, I showcased a knack for delivering high-quality software ahead of schedule and optimizing code for improved performance and user experience. My technical projects such as a "whitelabel" banking app that allowed companies to focus on their ideas rather than development and a mortgage system that took users from start to finish, highlight my expertise in backend development, testing, and integration of various technologies. My extends to Kotlin, Ktor, Gradle, Postgres, Kotest, Flutter, Spring, Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, and more. Beyond my technical prowess, my ability to seamlessly integrate into diverse teams, manage conflicts, and facilitate effective communication underscores my adaptability. An advocate for open-source software and a dedicated learner, I also balance my tech interests with a passion for space, baseball, watches, and, most importantly, time with my son.
