About Jacob Padwa

I started a new position as a Sr. Specialist, Internal Audit at Schwab in May 2025. In my previous position as a GS-13 Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, I auded Small Businesses and Self Employed individuals, as well as their related corporations, passthrough entities, and similar as required. I applied auditing techniques to gather information, analyze and document my findings, and prepare and justify my reports detailing my work. My duties encompaseds understanding of both financial reporting requirements and business structure/bookkeeping of a variety of business types, and involved essentially all common accounting systems i.e. Quickbooks, Sage reporting. In my previous position as a Risk Assurance Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, I similar conducted audits. I analyzed the financial recordkeeping and reporting processes of large multinational financial firms to ensure compliance and provide assurance for both annual 10-K filings and other financial reporting. Additionally, I performed Internal Controls consulting advising large financial services clients on Controls weaknesses and potential improvements. I am a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York State.
