Personal Joys:I love nature and outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling and disc golfing. I love watching movies, playing video games, and playing board games with my friends and family. I enjoy activities that instill creativity like photography, digital design, and video editing/production. If I had the opportunity, I would love to be a professional photographer.An Overview of My Work History: I began working as a Laborer under supervision of my father for his self-owned family Construction company. I worked for several years assisting and collaborating with my supervisor in framing walls, laying drywall, painting, installing light fixtures and acoustical ceiling, demolition, plumbing, wall repairs, and flooring. Shortly after starting, I also assisted in running data communication cables, i.e. CAT5e and Fiber Optic. Over the years I’ve learned many skills, and have since provided a larger role in network cable installations. I now also assemble, install, and connect data racks, terminate, test, and troubleshoot CAT5e and Fiber Optic cabling, and help track and manage all cable information.Goals and Motivation:Technology has always been a passion of mine, so I began an education at IUPUI in Computer Information Technology with the intent on focusing on computer networking. This wasn’t the best time for me mentally to focus on something as important as my future career, so I took time off to focus on myself, continue working, and find a footing to continue pursuing that passion. As of now, I am currently working towards obtaining Cisco network certifications. This is in an effort to get my foot into the door of information systems work, begin a long-lasting career, and to continue to learn within the profession and grow as a person.I'm looking for an inclusive and diverse workplace, and I want a job that challenges me and encourages and supports further growth.
