About Jacob Ryan

I am a 4th year student at University of Windsor in the Bachelor of Human Kinetics – Movement Science program, pursuing a career path in player development/basketball. I currently work with the University’s Men’s basketball team and teach fitness/aquatic classes for the City of Windsor. Some examples of how I gained my experience in movement science/sports: Refereeing soccer for 5 years, in a clinical sense through my experience as an assistant at a Chiropractor for 1 year, and compete for 7+ years as a high level competitive swimmer. Over the past 6 years I have taught fitness to individuals of all ages, from children to college athletes as well as the senior population, helping with rehabilitation of past and current injuries as well as just increasing strength. I have a passion for fitness, the body, and the science behind it all, having developed training regimen for myself and others, to suit their wants and needs (i.e: Weight loss, strength gain, muscle gain, or rehab) by using the knowledge I have gained from my schooling and experience.
