About Jacob Ryan Worrell

Currently, I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist seeking to further my experience, knowledge, and growth in the mental health field of Marriage and Family Therapy. As of December 2023, I have officially graduated with my MS in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. My professional skills include: addictions counseling, individual counseling and coaching, family advocacy, crisis management, resource allocation, interpersonal relations, communication, writing, multi-tasking, cultural sensitivity, empathy, organization, career counseling, academic counseling, and Microsoft office. These skills have been cultivated by jobs within the service industry, academic setting, and mental health field over the last twelve years through different positions, including: addictions counseling, psychotherapy, family therapy, career counseling, fitness training/athletic training, academic counseling, customer service, cashiering, and driving. My current passions revolve around the healing, counseling, and teaching of others. These passions stem from multiple sources. First, these passions originate in my Faith. I believe The Heavenly Father has sent me to help His children through Faith, Love and understanding. Second, these passions stem from my own afflictions and mental health traumas. Through these experiences, I have been blessed enough to see that many people are suffering through things that may be healed with the accompaniment of cooperation, unconditional positive regard, empathy, understanding, incremental growth, and practice. Personally, I seek to help people find the happiness and understanding that is hidden within every experience and themselves. I ultimately seek to use the strengths that I have been so blessed with to help those in need. I believe in the healing power of plants as medicine, the healing process of psychotherapy, the protection and guidance of my Faith, and the understanding of self. I believe in the Healing Grace and Holy Spirit that dwells within each individual regardless of race, origin, religion, or sexual orientation. With these beliefs — I will help those seeking their truth, happiness, and right to peace.
